Did you know that behind the Rassawek Autumn Festival & Pro Rodeo is Rassawek Ventures, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving traditional skills and crafts?
Throughout the festival, visitors can experience blacksmithing, welding, sawmills, and other skilled trades brought to life through live demonstrations that celebrate the people, knowledge, and craftsmanship shaping our communities while introducing future generations to the opportunities found within the trades.
Even more meaningful, proceeds from the festival have raised more than $25,000 in scholarships for students pursuing trade school, helping invest in the future of vocational education!

Kick off the afternoon with @jamesriverjunction from 4–5:30 PM, then stay for @holyrollerrva from 6–9 PM. @macdaddyseventsandcatering will be serving local favorites, so grab a chair, gather your favorite people, and enjoy an evening of great music and good company at Rassawek.

It takes more than 100 volunteers to help bring one of Rassawek`s biggest weekends to life. Join us in welcoming guests and supporting Rassawek Ventures` mission to preserve traditional trades and promote vocational education.
Looking for a fundraiser? Nonprofits are encouraged to volunteer as a group and will receive a donation based on volunteer hours while sharing their mission with our community.

Get ready to welcome @holyrollerrva to the Sawmill Music Series on Saturday, August 8th!
Born in Richmond, Holy Roller is the perfect soundtrack for a summer evening at Rassawek. They blend Southern rock, country influences, rich harmonies, and storytelling into a sound that`s both powerful and easy to settle into.
Make an evening of it! Gates open at 4 PM and @jamesriverjunction kicks off live music from 4–5:30 PM. Then stick around as Holy Roller takes the stage from 6–9 PM at the Rassawek Train Station.
